St George's Church

St George's Church overlooks the town of Kidderminster and has a tower that can be seen from miles around.  It is a 'Waterloo Church' built after the battle and consecrated in 1824.  It was rebuilt after being gutted by fire in 1922.  Imposing from the outside, it has a very welcoming, light and airy interior.  The congregation is warm and friendly.

St George's Church is part of the Parish of Kidderminster East.

Our Services

Worship has an air of relaxed formality and we value the use of a wide range of music.  There are three services on a Sunday.  Holy Communion is celebrated fortnightly at 8.00am (2nd & 4th Sundays).

Services also take place at 11.00am and 6.30pm each Sunday.  Please check the website for details of the type of service for each Sunday.  All services make provision for children aged 3 to 13.

Refreshments are served in the Church after morning workshop.

We also have Holy Communion at 10.15am on Wednesday which is followed by coffee and fellowship.

We have a number of groups & events that happen during the week including Coffee Shop on Friday mornings 10.00am - 12.00pm and Home Groups meeting on different nights when people meet informally for Bible Study and prayer.

St George's Church is located in Radford Avenue, Kidderminster, DY10 2ES.
